We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Amazing for the second time!"
Just returned from 5 days and it was amazing! The staff is friendly, helpful and absolutely impeccable service. From Victor at the pool to Louis on the beach, we never felt ignored or impatient to order drinks or food. The staff in the restaurants were so friendly and so wanting to make your dining experience first class! The food is delicious and a great deal for all-inclusive, no big buffets, all a la carte. We had some members inour party with food restrictions, the staff did everything they could to accommodate our requests. The rooms are huge and very nicely decorated. Maid service was fantastic, always done when requested and room was spotless. Beds are raised up and over the top comfortable! We will definitely be back, hopefully soon!
"Service with a gold star"
The resort is about a half hour drive from the airport. Upon arrival, a staff member meets you dressed in a bright yellow uniform out in the lot, not inside the airport. The property is beautiful, the service is exceptional. They even made a special effort to have a room for football with a big screen TV. They have activities, if you want to participate. Some of the rooms are quite a distance from the pool area/clubhouse. We liked being away, but we love to walk. There are golf carts to pick you up and take you to the room. It seems easier to reserve a closer room to the pool, if you choose not to walk. I always travel with mosquito repellant, just in case. I did use the spray one day on a walk at sunset. Every employee greets you, they sincerely love to help. The spa is super too.
"A great place to relax and unwind!"
We visited just prior to Christmas to get away from the crazy holiday pace in NYC where we live. While a bit more rustic property than other luxury hotels, it was quite comfortable and the room was beautiful. Service was great, spa was fantastic. Food and drinks were very good and health conscious - particularly for all-inclusive. Overall service was superb. I even left a very expensive watch in the pocket of my robe one evening at the spa and it was returned promptly the following morning. That alone makes going back worthwhile! All staff were so nice and warm. We highly recommend this property if you are looking for a very nice, quiet, all adult get away.
"Luxurious Find For Vegans and Vegetarians"
The glowing reviews about the service, setting and amenities are accurate, and reflect the experience my wife and I had with another couple (their second visit) at this resort in 2013. But I want to alert those vegetarians and vegans interested in an upscale beach experience that this is a great place to vacation, at least while the charming and handsome Mario Blanco is the Executive Chef. Most upscale resorts are willing to accommodate dietary preferences, but the chefs don't understand vegetarian and vegan food. You know those dreaded lunches and dinners of side dishes, or worse, a plate of plain steamed vegetables served to the vegetarian even though elements of suitable options appear elsewhere on the menu. Mario has a deep understanding of vegetarian food, and he is willing to extend himself -- the omnivores in our group gladly ate the beautiful food served to the vegans and vegetarians. One particularly memorable lunch included delicate crepes filled with mushrooms, poblano peppers and corn, with a vegan sauce of zucchini flowers. It was beautiful, supremely flavorful, and exceeded our expectations, rivaling the best vegan food served in New York. The vegetarians in our group had numerous satisfying meals, especially when Mario was on premises. Don't miss the excellent drinks including the best-ever Bloody Mary and a yummy tequila chaser prepared by Jimmy in The Library bar.
"Luxury and relaxation"
My husband and I returned for our second visit. We were there the first 2 weeks in December, and were there to celebrate our 38th anniversary. We loved this resort on our first visit a year and a half ago. This time, they once again exceeded our expectations! Our flight arrived 10 minutes early and we got through customs really fast, so we were concerned we would have to wait for our pick up. Wrong! Our driver was right outside the airport door with a Mercedes SUV, champagne ready! Private transfer from the airport went perfectly. 20 minutes later, we arrived. The staff here goes out of their way to please their guests. We have yet to have an issue come up that could not be rectified. Restaurant and bar service was perfect. We were made to feel like we had our own private wait staff, and they couldn't do enough for us. There are so many employees here that we recognized from our first visit. This hotel does a remarkable job at training their staff. And they do truly seem like they enjoy their jobs. It is true that this is a small resort, with limited activities. But that is one of the reasons we chose to come here. If you need to be entertained, you should go to one of the mega resorts. They have 3 restaurant venues, which we found to be to be more than adequate, considering the size of the resort. They could perhaps change up the menus a bit, on a weekly basis for guests staying longer than a week. We truly had no problems though, when you consider that if you ask for something not on the menu, they will do their best to meet your requests. Beyond that, they do offer the option to dine at one of the other affiliated resorts. We stayed in the Tanzania Suite, located at the far end of the resort. We were given this location, because we requested it and were so happy we did. When we arrived, we found out it was one of the first suites to be updated. The basic suite is the same, however living room and patio upholstery, and bed linens have been changed. Beautiful embroidery above the bed. There was also a 3rd flat screen tv added to the suite (in the bathroom, no less). We love this suite because it has views in either direction along the beach. It is so close to the water, that you can go to sleep listening to the surf. The patio and plunge pool face south, so it gets a little more sun also. It would also be nice if they would add a hand held sprayer in the shower, although it is already a luxurious experience. The new flat screen in the bath put it over the top in this regard. We never had a problem getting service to our suite. Our room was always clean and we never needed to request towels or soap or anything. Mini bar service was the same. We did use their laundry service, and it seriously was flawless. We alway had our things returned in less than 24 hours. And it was returned laundered, smelling fresh and newly pressed. Room service breakfasts took less than 30 minutes, and we stayed in the room for most mornings. One reviewer commented that they never received a replacement bottle of champagne, however we were told that those bottles were kept on ice, and that anytime we would like one to simply phone and it would be delivered to the room. And so we did, almost every evening, and one afternoon. It never took more than a few minutes to arrive (ever)... Many reviewers have brought up the beach at this resort. We found it quite enjoyable to be on the beach. The resort works tirelessly to keep it clear of sea grass. We have visited at the beginning of August and the beginning of December. Both times the water was swimmable! There is minimal wave action, so red flags and rough surf are not a constant concern. There is still enough surf if you like to swim, or if not, to just lull you to sleep at night! Perhaps there was more wind on this visit than in August. We also had no problem obtaining a palapa for the day (no extra fees at this resort, thank you), on either visit. Beach and bar service was amazing, I might add. Food, drinks, whatever you asked for. Shout out to management to let them know that they have a couple of the most hardworking guys (Pepe and Antonio) working here. These guys went above and beyond to please. To do this, they are constantly on the run. (Not just for us, we witnessed them doing whatever they could for other guests also). Always courteous, always with a since of humor. We loved visiting with Jimmy in the Library Bar each evening. He always remembered our cocktail of choice, and had some interesting suggestions for something new. We found his tequila tasting seminar quite enjoyable and educational. Although the saltwater pool at the spa seemed a bit cool this trip, my husband did enjoy doing the hydrotherapy several times while we were there. We also had a couple's massage and thought it was amazing. The resort, the architecture.... They have not tried to banish the old Mexico feel. Nor have they tried to acquire the slick, cookie cutter look of some of today's "modern" new resorts. The resort is comfortable. It is romantic. It is eclectic. One can find oneself, or lose oneself in the beauty here. The art work is from many places around the world. There are candle lit walkways. Koi ponds. Gardens. Exotic birds and other wildlife. A resident crocodile. And the ever present ocean. On top of all that, a staff that is standing by to make sure you are having the time of your life. What else could you possibly need? We will happily return.
"Riviera Maya luxury as it should be"
As a frequent holiday traveler to the Riviera Maya / Cancun area, we grew tired of so called "luxury resorts" with mediocre food, omelet-station lines, crummy beds, flat pillows, and inflated prices. Bonita Luxury Resort is truly a gem for those who want a relaxing luxurious time in Riviera Maya. The rooms are suites, the bathrooms, showers, tub enormous, and the grounds impressive. The spa is fantastic and the entire emphasis is upon healthy living. The staff is always courteous, polite, and prompt. There are no buffets, no lines, no rushing in the morning to get a seat by the pool or dining times between 6 and 10pm. Don't come here if you want the "false luxury" experience. High-end only. Not a great place for kids unless teenagers who want to relax. There is deep sea fishing, kayaking, catamaran cruise (all from their private dock). The roadway in is often flooded (but passable), running thru a mangrove "jungle" complete with crocodiles (yes, you see them). One of the first resorts south of Cancun, so the trip from airport is quick (and they have complimentary airport transport).
"Absolutely Wonderful Vacation!"
Everything about this resort was amazing. The resort itself is beautiful and although at full capacity when we were there, it felt like we were the only couple there. The staff was friendly and everyone really goes out of their way to make sure that your stay is enjoyable. The food was spectacular; every bite was fresh, healthy, and delicious. We will be returning to this resort again!
"Worry Free Vacation Luxury"
Our first time at an all incisive resort was so wonderful that we can't wait to return. From the moment we arrived in our suite to the final farewell, we felt pampered. We loved the sunken bathtub, the salt waterr pool, the wide variety of gourmet meals, the interesting selection of activities and most of all the people. Everyone greeted us anywhere we went, but special recognition to Antonio, Jimmy, Marco and Miguel-you guys went above and beyond!!! Knowing that every morning I would have a chocolate croissant and a cappucino made me feel spoiled! we also had an awesome couples massage-definitely treat yourself to the spa treatments. Thank you for making our 5th wedding anniversary so memorable
"Excellent Resort!"
This is a great resort! Amazing service, great food, and very nice staff. Only thing is the seaweed that builds up on the beach but they do a good job of cleaning it up every day. It you are a peaceful and relaxing vacation, this is the place for you. But if you want more nightlife and a party atmosphere I would go to another resort. Overall was a great vacation and would highly recommend for couples.
"Perfect Honeymoon!"
This hotel is one of the friendliest, most beautiful and best valued places I've ever been too. My husband and I went for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and it was perfect - it far exceeded all our expectations. I don't need to say anymore about this place, it is beautiful, the food is exquisite and the staff are exceptional. If you are stuck for a holiday choice then look no further. All inclusive included top notch booze, choice of 3 restaurants whenever you wanted and activities including a sunset cruise, cigar rolling, tequila tasting and cooking classes. The spa was fabulous as well.
"Beautiful Resort"
My husband and I stayed at this resort and I have to say it was amazing. The room was very elegant and beds were comfortable. We were in the last building on the third floor and the view was so beautiful. We only stayed 5 nights, I think that was perfect because they only have two places to eat dinner. If they had more dinning options I would of loved to stay much longer. We have also stayed in Los Cabos. We like both places for different reason.
"Fantastic Honeymoon!!!"
This is my first review ever on Trip Advisor, but I had to write about our time. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon from 10/28 - 11/3. We spent a lot of time trying to find a property for our honeymoon and decided on Bonita Luxury Resort. We were so glad we did! From the time we were picked up the airport, and welcomed to the property, every aspect of the trip was first class with incredible service. Our suite was lovely, well decorated, and spacious with a very large bathroom. The food was excellent with our favorite meal consistently being breakfast. I loved how fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented all the meals were. Also, the healthy wellness options were so nice to have. I cannot say enough about the staff. Every single staff member was attentive with excellent service for guests. They were amazing and did everything they could to make our trip memorable and romantic. We especially appreciated the concierge manager, Rafael, who always checked in with us to make sure we were well taken care of. Even the general manager, Valter, made sure he spent some time with us. We had a couple of days of bad weather which was okay, because the room was so lovely. Despite the rainy days, the staff made sure we had an amazing time and we are so grateful for that. I HIGHLY recommend Bonita Luxury Resort and we look forward to visiting again soon!
"Best experience ever"
I qualified for this trip through my company. Every employee at this resort offered top notch service. They were helpful, polite and very efficient. This is a quaint resort, but has all the amenities. I would highly recommend anyone to visit here.
"Fabulous vacation trip"
Bonita Luxury Resort was a great vacation spot. The rooms were great, the food was really good, and the spa was incredible. We loved the thalasso treatments along with the massage. However, what made the place extra special was the staff. Javier, the concierge could not be more helpful, Rudy on the bell staff took only one meeting to remember our names and greet us at every opportunity, offering us rides in the carts whenever we needed to get from the room to the spa or vice versa. And I cannot begin to tell you how great Cesar, the manager of Kaax Retsaurant was. Cesar made special salads for my wife and when I asked if they had any baby back ribs, Cesar said he would cook some and also added a really nice steak to the plate. These were not on the menu but we learned early to ask for anything we wanted. The food was so good I asked if they had any ice cream and they made my wife and I a Sundae. The pools were very nice with great pool side service. The Hippo bar made fabulous margaritas and the best Pina Colada I have ever had. Yuri at the spa also gave a fabulous massage. This is first class all the way. I can't wait to return.
"Beautiful and secluded, but close to the action"
The amenities are fabulous and the staff and service treated us very, very well. Our room was comfortable and clean -- with a touch of elegance. Although the menu choices were somewhat limited, I appreciated the healthy offerings and everything was delicious.
"Mayan Honeymoon"
Beautiful resort with the most lovely staff ever. The food (fresh and organic) was yummy and staff worked diligently to find anything that was missing and get it for you. The Spa is amazing - would absolutely go back! felt unbelievably blessed to be there. I miss them all!
"Paradise the second time around."
We visited Bonita Luxury Resort for the second time in September. We stayed in Porto Cervo which is in the first building closest to the pool. The room is fabulous and clean. We love the staff here and the way they make you feel pampered. Victor did a great job taking care of us on the beach (what little beach time we had due to the horrible weather while we were there). We love Cesar at Kaax at breakfast and lunch. We had some other favorites at the restaurant. Our first trip was so incredible that we had really high standards for our return trip. Because of that there were a few disappointments, but I think they have more to do with our expectations based on our first trip. *This place is beautiful, excellent and the best service we've ever experienced. * We love the room! *I went for a few spa treatments and they were all great. *I love that you don't have to check in or out...they just take you to your room and pick you up. *The people are friendly, friendly, friendly. It is obvious that they feel fortunate to have their jobs and appreciate their guests and do not take them for granted. Have stayed so many places with bad we particularly love this.
"Amazing, Relaxing - First Class"
My wife and I went to this resort for her 40th Birthday. From the moment we met our driver at the airport to the last moment when our driver returned us to the airport we were treated first class. The staff and atmosphere of this resort created a relaxing envirnment to spend our vacation. We were there 5 days and did not want it to end. The dining experience at each meal was excellent. They were accommodating to our needs (fast or slow meals) and provided an excellent experience each time. The in-room dining included in the travel package was amazing. We were able to enjoy memosa's on our balcony while eating our freshly prepared breakfast. The spa was incredibly relaxing. We used the Thalasso pool even on days we did not have a spa treatment scheduled. The entire staff was attentive whether we were relaxing on the beach, in the bar or somewhere else on the grounds. We will definitely be going back again!
"Perfect place to relax and recharge"
I was traveling alone and looking for a place where I could unwind and recharge and not have to worry about safety, etc. Additionally, I have fairly high standards for dining as well as some dietary restrictions which can present challenges. Bonita Luxury Resort turned out to be the perfect choice! I felt taken care of from the minute I arrived as Maurizio the driver picked me up at the airport with a cool cloth and refreshing beverage. Although my room was not ready upon my arrival, Laura and Rafael made sure that I was comfortable while I waited at the Hippo's lounge. This is where I first encountered Frederico who saw to it that my glass was never empty and that my belly stayed full from my arrival to my departure. The service was impeccable with a few exceptions however the following people deserve special mention as they made my stay memorable: Frederico, Victor, Antonio, Arturo, Cesar, Eric, Felipe, Andres, Juliette, Manuel and the hostess at breakfast. I cannot say enough about incredible they were! They treat you like royalty! My spa treatment with Gabby was positively transcendental! I'd recommend the Thalasso signature treatment which includes 4 treatments in one. Mirna and the other folks on the housekeeping team truly did clean the room 3 times a day so that my room was always spotless. - I had a first floor room with plunge pool that I didn't actually use however I relaxed on the on the spacious outdoor beds on the patio while watching and listening to the ocean many days. - I enjoyed seeing a variety of animals in their habitat coati, iguanas, many different types of birds and even a crocodile that calls the creek on the property home. - The Temazcal, sauna and spa are really wonderful. - There are no clocks and the staff are not allowed to wear watches so you truly are able to be in the moment. - The food portions are small by American standards which means that you get to try a number of courses at each meal. (The exception is the whole grilled fish which is large) - I loved that the food was healthy and that I was able to maintain my normal eating habits and that they were able to accommodate my food allergies. - The pool is idyllic I will definitely return! If you are looking for a place to socialize and party, this is not it at all. If you are looking for someplace to reconnect with yourself or your loved one, then this is ideal!
"Return to a true paradise"
Plan to be pampered. Starting from your arrival. Allow yourself to be pampered. Just take a deep breath and allow yourself to relax and take in the beauty of the ocean, sky and leave all worries behind. Remember to check out the daily schedule of restaurants, activities and specialties of the day. Don't feel embarrassed to ask
"High quality quiet place on the Riviera Maya"
Starts with having your own car from the airport, only 20 minutes away. Although there are plenty of resorts in the area, it feels remote. Food is both healthy and very high quality - don't be afraid of the healthy part. One of my favorite meals was a grilled whole fish, fresh and perfectly grilled. The drinks are of the highest quality, with interesting cold teas as well as top shelf alcohol. The rooms are spacious with large balconies, seemingly all facing the sea. Service/staff is excellent. This is not a place to go if you're looking for any kind of late night scene; it rolls up around 10, which was perfect for us. Also really nothing for kids, also fine with us. Guests appeared to be either middle-aged couples looking for a peaceful place to relax, or younger professional couples looking for the same.
"Amassing Experience & Professional Staff"
We spend two nights at Bonita Luxury Resort and enjoyed it every minute. It's location is perfect: close to Cancun but far enough from the large chain hotels from the Zona Hotelera. The rooms, food and facilities where to the highest level. Most impressive of all was the competence of the concierge and management team that could responded to all our requests fast and efficiently. They offered us the a large variety of activities of the highest level to do in the resort as well as in the surrounding area, that they organized efficiently and we enjoyed every one.
"Absolutely fabulous the best holiday I have ever had"
My room was fantastic, over looking the beautiful sea. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. I have never stayed in the same hotel more than once but after my visit I am seriously considering coming back here The food is fantastic I never had a bad meal whilst there, I especially liked 'la canoa' this restaurant was brilliant. I also liked the fact that the rooms felt really personal because they are given names instead of just being a number. The decor in each is different for example the sofas and chairs were different in the room next door Overall it was a fantastic holiday the location was amazing and the staff were brilliant
"Wonderful place!"
We had a wonderful stay in the Paraiso. We stayed a week. We started in a upper story room with an incredible view of the ocean and very close to the sand. We were upgraded later in the week to a room with a private pool on the back patio. This upgraded room was further from the main lobby, pool and restaurants. We actually preferred the room without the pool and closer to the pool more. The food in every restaurant was wonderful! The staff was very nice and very attentive.
"Romantic Getaway"
From the very beginning of our trip, our ride was waiting for us the van was nice and cool with a glass of champagne waiting for us. Upon arrival at the resort, we were met by Rafael, who showed us around the property and to our room. We spent all of our days at the pool. We enjoyed dining at all the restaurants, and the food was excellent. The service in the pool area, especially Victor and Andres. We enjoyed the Sunset Cruise and the trip to Moreles. The hostess at Kaxx, Tonia, Arturo at La Canoe and Enrique the Bell man were great. We will definitely come back!!
"Ocean breezes and palm trees!"
We have stayed at this wonderful resort many times. From the champagne pick-up at the airport to the dramatic entrance knows, luxury awaits. The management is very responsible and attentive to your desires. The GM, Valter Espenoza is a very polite professional. Greeting people and strolling through the grounds daily, seeing that all is running smoothly. The accommodations are awesome......1000 sq ft suites, ocean front........and we always prefer the plunge pool suites. Breakfast on the veranda is a great way to start the day and immerse yourself in the beauty of your surrondings, whether it be the ocean, palm trees, or the well manicured grounds. Did I mention that room service is always on time and calls around the world are included in addition to the daily champagne delivery to your suite. One is greeted upon check in with a bottle of tequila, limes, flowers, fruit and a chilled bucket of champagne............what a way to start a holiday after your journey!! This resort is for all adults...........lovers, honeymooners, special celebrations, or just for a fabulous getaway.............we go because we love it. The food prep is first rate, restaurants inviting.......the sushi bar, incredible and the harp player so romantic at breakfast..........the spa is a wonderful combination of therapies and health related healing practices........and massages are devine. we recommend this facility very highly.
"Totally relaxing!"
Had a beautiful 4 day stay at this resort. Service was superb, especially poolside as well as at the casual restaurant called Kaax. This is a quiet, wonderful place to stay - as others have noted, if you are looking for big time night life, choose another location. It took us a day or two to get into the laid back mode, but soon we did not want to leave!. Look for incredible service from Miguel and Victor at the pool bar - they will help you in any way possible. My wife and I did not find the food at the dressy restaurant to be anything exceptional, so in the future we will plan to stay casual. Take a few hours and spend some time at the salt water pool, it was terrific! Our measure of a great vacation is to say that we would visit again, and we most certainly will.
"Perfect place to relax!"
My wife and I just returned from a 4 day get-away to Bonita Luxury Resort. It was a fantastic mini-vacation. The solitude, exceptional service, and wonderful food were remarkable. Johnny, the Activities Director, was a standout. He gave my wife and I personal Merengue dance lessons. We were his highest priority. Eric, at the Canoa restaurant was attentive, intimately familiar with the menu, and a pleasure to interact with. Christian was also phenomenal at the Canoa. Cecil, at the Kaash restaurant went out of his way to ensure all of our needs were exceeded. The Spa and Wellness center are not to be missed. Take advantage of the free 20 minute Hydrotherapy introduction. It was incredible! We had a couples massage, and were thrilled with the service. We were impressed with the personal pick up and delivery from the Cancun Airport. If you are looking for a romantic, quiet, beautiful location with exceptional food and service, then this is your place. You will not want to leave the hotel grounds.
