Seré honesto, trabajo en hoteles y requiero muy poco, así que mi evaluación puede ser un poco sesgada, pero el resort fue fantástico, con acceso a la playa, gran personal y comida y muchas áreas de piscina. Algunas de las mejores vistas diurnas y nocturnas de Los Cabos y a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad. Fuimos durante la temporada de huracanes cuando no había nadie allí. Yo lo recomendaría porque el resort estaba vacío y el clima era hermoso. Estaban haciendo renovaciones, pero también lo están haciendo todos los lugares de allí. En general no dudaría en volver. Este fue un viaje de una semana con nuestros hijos adultos (18 y 22). Todos comentamos lo amigable y eficiente que era el personal, y el spa en particular se destacó. Felicitaciones especiales a Emma en el Spa, Fausto (¡que hace un café con leche!) en la Fábrica de CupCake, y Alvero y Jorge en el vestíbulo - todos ellos se destacaron en un lugar que ya contaba con un gran personal.

Bonito lugar para alojarse, personal muy amable y atento. A corta distancia a pie de la marina y de toda la acción en Los Cabos. Gran marina y vista al mar desde el hotel, buena comida fresca. Amplia zona de piscina, una piscina climatizada, 3 piscinas en total. Disfrutamos 10 días en Sandos, conocimos gente increíble.)

Gran Personal, Ubicación, Comida y Valor! Mi esposa y mis hijos de 9 y 11 años se quedaron en el Sandos Finisterra para la noche de Año Nuevo. Primero el hotel tiene una excelente ubicación en Cabo San Lucas (a 40 minutos del aeropuerto, a poca distancia de la marina y de los principales restaurantes, bares y centros comerciales). El hotel está en el lado del Océano Pacífico, la playa es muy tranquila y exclusiva pero no se puede nadar en el mar, es muy peligroso especialmente para los niños. El hotel ha sido renovado recientemente y está dividido en dos por un puente alto, el lado más alejado es el nuevo, pregunte siempre por la nueva zona es mejor, las habitaciones más antiguas están más cerca de la playa y las piscinas. Las áreas de la piscina y los restaurantes también están renovados y con gran comida para un hotel todo incluido, el Restaurante Don Diego en el nuevo lado debe tener la mejor vista de todo Cabo San Lucas. Posiblemente uno de los mejores activos de este hotel es el personal, todos los empleados están trabajando duro para sentirse cómodo, una mención especial a Don Fausto que dirige el Cupcake Cafe, un gran empleado, pero también una gran persona. El hotel tiene algunas características agradables, un impresionante Spa, un pequeño Club de Niños, una gran zona de playa para practicar deportes como fútbol americano, voleibol o fútbol, 4 piscinas 3 en la zona de playa, una terraza de Cupcake/Coffee con una gran vista también y algunas características de entretenimiento, en general fue una gran estadía en el hotel para ir en compañía de toda la familia.

Mi hermana, su prometido, mi esposa y yo fuimos una semana a Finisterra. Nos quedamos gratamente sorprendidos cuando nos fuimos. Las críticas parecen ser mixtas, pero nuestra experiencia ha sido positiva. El equipo de entretenimiento fue muy amigable y siempre dispuesto a jugar voleibol acuático. Anna se tomó el tiempo para sentarse con nosotros un día y charlar, lo cual fue muy agradable. En los restaurantes Lorenzo siempre se ocupaba de nosotros con todo lo que necesitábamos. La comida era buena, el servicio rápido y la habitación muy cómoda. Teníamos una excelente vista en el primer piso de la piscina y el océano pacífico. El wifi nos llegó perfectamente, lo que fue una ventaja adicional.

This was our first visit to a resort with an all-inclusive option. We don't have enough all-inclusive experience to rate the food against other similar properties, but really enjoyed the wide range of options provided. We never ate the same meal twice and felt that the quality was good and they replaced the more popular items frequently. Not having to worry about the liquor tab at the end of our stay provided a sigh of relief. You could probably drink yourself silly, as they also replaced items for free in the wet-bar daily. As we were there before the Chrismas/New Year rush, it wasn't as full and we ended up getting quick service at every area of the resort. Oswaldo was a server in the main restaurant who was especially attentive to everyone. The nightly entertainment was fun without being over the top. The spa area was very nice and incorporated the rock upon which it was built into the architecture. They have spa attendants who lead you through the spa circuit before your treatment, which I thought was a nice touch. The spa staff may consider writing instructions in English as the attendants are not all bilingual, even though many are. They also use females in the male spa area and have a common area, so keep your shorts on! Don't forget to tip your food-servers, bartenders, etc. while you are under the all-inclusive option! And tip them what you normally would based on the "true" cost of the meal and service.

We stayed at Sandos in late October. The service was great, the food was excellent and hotel amenities where superb!!! We love the private beach, love, love, love the food at the palapa restaurant, really enjoyed the night club and nightly entertainment. It was across the street from the marina and a short walk from downtown. The views were amazing and the grounds were impeccably clean. Strongly recommend this hotel,

Perfect location - go out the back door and you are on the Pacific Ocean and out the front door you are at the Marina. Food was very good for an all inclusive. Many pool areas to choose from. The beach had lots of palapas with plenty of loungers available (and attentive staff bringing you free drinks). The view of the ocean and the sunsets were wonderful. The rooms were clean with wonderful views.

People who work there were very nice & accommodating. I went with my 2 adult kids and we all had a wonderful experience, from the manager Paulino Emiliano, to some of the waiters like Eric, Anais or Mimi in concierge made our stay wonderful. This resort was recently remodeled and has an amazing view of the Bay & the Marina. We could walk to the Marina and at all time we felt safe. I wish iI had discover Cabo San Lucas before. We will definitely come back. We live in San Diego so the trip is easy and short. Our thanks to the personnel!

The Sandos Finisterra was EXACTLY what my husband and I were looking for in an all inclusive resort! We stayed in a 4th floor Ocean View Jr. Suite that appeared to be newly painted and freshened up with new furnishings. The room was clean and spacious and, most importantly, we could watch the whales from our balcony! The bathroom and sink area were lovely and modern. We ate at the resort for most meals and found Agave to be our favorite restaurant, especially for lunch - Angie was great! Don Diego was fantastic for breakfast as well as dinner. The outdoor seating overlooking the Marina and dolphin pool made for a great view! The food was wonderful - we never went away hungry! The dcor in both places was modern and lovely. We spent most of our free time on the beach, enjoying margaritas and watching whales from the comfortable beach chairs provided. The front desk and other lobby staff were great for exchanging money and planning excursions. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back to the Sandos Finisterra - hopefully very, very soon!

One of the best all inclusive vacations ever. The resort was awesome, good location, great food, 4 pools, and super clean. I like to thank the following people, Mary from housekeeping, Lorenzo one of our waiters and bartender, and Freddy the bellman who always had a smile on his face. If you get a chance to go to Cabo San Lucas stay at the Sandos, the resort has everything you need for the prefect vacation.

My spouse and I spent a week at Sandos Finisterra beginning of December 2013. The hotel is superb. The cactus gardens incorporated in the carved stone buildings is really well done. The location on the beach and sea of Cortes is amazing. The food is great. The Diego restaurant has a great locatio for Breakfast and dinners. The Tortuga beach restaurant is great for lunch, a small distance from the beach. The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Joel and Ana for a very friendly Entertainment.

We have been to cabo 3 other times, staying at other resorts, this stay was phenomenal!!!!! The location is terrific! We loved it so much, we became royal elite members and can't wait to get back!!!!! The beach and marina views are beautiful, room service was excellent and the cupcake cafe for coffee and chai tea daily was a must do! The resort continues to upgrade and are always looking for ways for improvement. Lorenzo made us feel so comfortable and knew our names after our first day there! The Spa was AMAZING! I had a carribbean breeze massage with sea shells by alberto....your day starts out in a sauna then steam room then jacuzzi then ice pool then massage....all the rooms are built into the standing rock...absolutely amazing and beautiful! We highly recommend this resort! Thanks Sandos for a wonderful trip! We can't wait to see you again!

We stayed at the Finisterra the last week of November and the first week of December. This was first time at this resoprt and our second time in Cabo San Lucas and have stayed in Mexico many times over the past 20 years. The property is gorgeous, perched high on the mountain and overlooking both the Pacific Ocean and the Marina. The grounds are well kept and the engineering involved in the building is amazing. Our room was spacious and comfortable on the sixth floor facing the Pacific and the Pool area. We watched whales from our room many days. Our check in was very smooth and quick, though others in our party did experience extreme problems with the process. We found the staff extremely helpful. The restaurants were all very good as were the bars. I really liked the larger than normal poolside glasses used at the pool bar. The drinks seemed to always be top notch and for Canadians it was nice to be able to order a Caeser in Mexico. (not always possible) The Cupcake Cafe was a nice touch but could use more staff as at times it backed up a bit but was always worth the wait. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Always helpful and prompt. They were fun to interact with and over our two weeks became friends. The rooms were well maintained and immaculate. The bar fridge was well stocked and stayed that way everyday. The location of the hotel was great. A very private beach and yet a five minute walk to the marina. Water taxis anywhere ranged from 5 - 7 dollars. We did find people that had paid up to $90.00 for an arches tour and were in the same boat we just paid $7.00 for! Be careful. Only thing I would suggest is to add Bacon to the morning menu. Two weeks there and no Bacon! There IS very good snorkelling in Cabo...just not off the beach. Pelican Rock gives you some excellent snorkelling with fish species that rivals even the Mayan Coral reef. Five dollar water taxi ride from the dock. Also don't miss going to Medano Beach and the Mango Deck...a lot of fun. Another five dollar water taxi ride (round trip) Overall Impression....would we go back? Didn't want to leave and we will be back!

My wife and I stayed here from 11-28 thru 12-3-2013. We had the most incredible time there. All the improvements are remarkable. Food was outstanding. We are not buffet people but don Diego for breakfast was better than any buffet we've ever had. El tortuga was smaller but not a buffet and had incredible fresh cooked to order breakfast. Marlin for dinner was the best but you had to have a reservation which I don't like to do on vacation but well worth it. Great location,views of pacific ocean which has a private beach so no one selling anything or hasseling you. Also great views of marina which is just a short walk which we also enjoyed. We also walked thru marina to medano beach which is nice to swim and jet ski but so crowded and a lot of people selling stuff or wanting you to go fishing,glass bottom boat rides ect. They don't bother me and just say no gracias n keep walking. Fun to hang out down there but a million times better up on the hill at sandos finisterra. Great service everywhere n room service if you want. I hear reviews saying bad pool service but they have 3 large pools down there and the bar/restaurant is at middle pool which is the warmer pool. You can order from pool bar in the water or other side which is walk up. Great shrimp cocktails and drinks. We couldn't be happier with sandos and are planning our next trip

Great location for us to stay that was not on Medano beach. Easy walk to the Marina area and adjacent streets. The rooms were clean and the food was good. Lots of pool areas to really sprawl out. Could watch the Dolphins from the Don Diego buffet. The Blue Marlin required reservations so we ate there one time and the food was good. The service was very good in all aspects and the staff were very friendly.

Please take my word for it, you will absolutely LOVE your stay here! We were a couple that stayed here in addition to 5 other family members. We stayed from November 23rd to November 30th. Myself and my boyfriend were complimentary upgraded to a newly renovated bay-view suite...probably the best hotel room I've EVER stayed in. If you have the option to stay in one of these rooms, DO it! You will not be disappointed, the furnishings were amazing, very quiet, clean and the views were amazing. I loved having a rain shower, separate tub and king-sized bed. Construction is seriously non-existent, you would be hard pressed to find much going on. They must be nearly done as it was not an issue at all. Best of all, the price we paid won't represent what they'll likely charge when they're 100% done - I would have expected to pay a lot more to stay at a resort like this. -Food was delicious, Don Diego's doesn't represent your typical all-inclusive buffet fare. Having a fresh-to-order omellet every morning was amazing! Lots of choices, all the correct temperature, the daily smoothies were unreal. Dinner at the buffet was just as great, each night they have a different theme (BBQ, French, etc). Blue Marlin is sit-down Italian dinner, I really enjoyed the pizza and pasta. Our group seemed to love the flan dessert, a must try. The beachside restaurant was great as well, we literally had BABY SEA TURTLES coming up the beach towards the restaurant while we were having dinner - what an amazing experience to not only see them and but release them to the ocean! Poolside restaurant had great Mexican/American choices, I'll miss the chips/guacamole and seafood options. -Drinks were great, not watered down at all and were made to order correctly. They even did a great Caesar - Canadians you will love them! Order as many as you like at a time. Service was quicker through a server then going to the bar yourself. Bring some tip money with you and you're set. -Room service is 24/7 and was awesome! I waited no more than 10 minutes late one night for a 9 inch pizza - it was delicious, hot and quick! Can't beat that! Large menu too for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Definitely take advantage of this perk! -Location, location, location! You will love how close you are to the marina (5 minute walk) but how far away you feel from all of the hustle/bustle when back at the resort. It's the best of both worlds! Their pictures offer a great view of what to expect, loved the layout, how clean everything was, easy to get around and get your bearings. -Cleanliness. This place is exceptionally clean; I had zero complaints. Grounds were well kept, we constantly saw people cleaning/landscaping. Housecleaning did a fantastic job, our room was always spotless and towels/products replenished. -Spa is so unique! As a regular massage client, I was throughly impressed with how beautiful the spa really was. It is a perfect blend of beauty and tranquility. We had a couple's massage, great value and overall experience. Please treat yourself! -Gym is brand spanking new. As a couple that works out regularly, we couldn't believe how new the equipment was, nice and air conditioned, great view of the bay. -Pool area is great. There's an adults only pool featuring a swim-up bar, we had a lot of fun playing bingo, sipping on drinks and relaxing. The chairs are high quality and they even have queen sized bed loungers to lay in. Best part is, no need to claim your spot or fight over chairs, the resort has more than enough to go around. Pools themselves aren't heated, which was fine considering how hot it was out, but they have tons of different hot tubs to sit in should you need to warm up a little. Pool service was great, it's usually only one or two guys managing the whole area so I was really impressed with how quick they were and how friendly they made us feel. -Tipping is very much appreciated, we brought ~$50 each in 1's/5's and you can tell this goes a long way. Servers were attentive, friendly and did their best to accomodate your every request. Overall Sandos FInisterra, we were so happy with our vacation and really enjoyed staying at your beautiful resort. You can tell a lot of effort is being made to make this place great, keep up the good work and we hope to see you again!!! :)

I went to the Sandos Finisterra for a 40th birthday celebration with 5 girlfriends. It was such a fabuous time, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The Finisterra had recently been renovated, and it was absolutely beautiful...The rooms were lovely, beds were comfy, and the grounds were gorgeous with great pools and places to lounge. The food was quite good, especially the buffet. The fitness room and spa were perfect. And the staff was very helpful, and not to mention, a lot of fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend the resort highly. I cant wait to go back and bring my husband and kids next time!

This hotel had very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely property, and beautiful stretch of beach (although it is not swimmable). I was able to see whales breeching from the beach, and from my room's balcony. Property is large, but very accessible. Very nice nightclub, lovely views of the marina as well as the beach from the restaurants. The property is undergoing a bit of renovation, and our room had a few minor maintenance issues. Very comfortable bed, shower a bit low pressure. Close proximity to marina, although hill is quite steep. I was able to walk it after having a knee replacement 5 weeks ago, so it's doable. One thing I would add to this property is a bar in the lobby area. Great staff, lovely property, overall very nice. Would return.

Decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Cabo, chose the Sandos Finisterra. Place was great, short walk down to the Marina area, great beach front on the Pacific Side. Enjoyed doing all inclusive, food was good, drinks were great, the Disco rocked out and the outdoor band was great. If you are an espresso junkie the Cupcake will make your day! You can lay out on the beach and not be bothered by vendors selling their wares, nice change. I can't wait to see it when their remodel is done, if it anything like the new units for the vacation club owners it will terrific! Whales were just starting to go by. Next time we go we will be taking friends and family.
