We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Good place to stay"
This place used to be not so nice but they fixed it up and the rooms are nice now. It's just in downtown Rockland so you can walk to everything in the area. Large parking lot here. It's been quiet when I've stayed here, staff are very helpful too.
"By the beautiful bay"
We just spent 4 days @ the Inn, wonderful place, clean rooms & beds, right the middle of everything ! 1 hour &1/2 to Acadia National park, near Owl's head & other Lighthouses, rustic towns & Augusta Me (the Capital of Maine)
"GREAT PLACE"
We just had such a nice stay at the Tradewinds Inn . The rooms were new and beautiful and the staff was so friendly. The location in Rockland can't be beat. It's within walking distance of restaurants, waterfront, and many points of interest...and they take dogs! I highly recommend it and would gladly return
"clean and good size"
Had a wonderful experience . Sally our housekeeper was wonderful. Front desk staff can not remember her name called for us and found steam clams my husband was wanting for our anniversary diner. Thank you so much
"Long Weekend in Rockland"
Tradewinds by the Bay is a sweet old property in a fantastic location. Sure it's older and not lavish but if you want a clean quiet spot for your vacation then book it! Beds were comfy, just enough to kitchen and very nice staff. Pool was warm and goes to 7 ft! Hot tub was great. Short walk to all the action in this lovely town. We hope to return!
"Family Holiday"
Went on a family vacation with my daughter and granddaughters as it was their School March Break. It was their first time to the U.S. and they really enjoyed the heated pool and hottub. It was also an experience for them to use their passports to cross the border , and to use America currency. Shopping at the Dollar Tree was also fun.
"What a change!"
I stay here every year when I go to Rockland for the Super Bowl. A complete redo! This place was on Hotel Impossible and the front desk person told me that the room I had was the sample room that was done for the show and then was copied into other rooms. What a redo...very nautical, keeping with the area. Had a sun porch, king bed, wall mounted tv. Free wireless, continental breakfast which is excellent. The parking is easy in, easy out. Small gym, indoor pool, all available to guests. The staff is excellent. I would highly recommend it.
"Michell Donahue"
We had a great stay!! It was clean and very tidy. The service was great and the breakfast was awesome!! We loved it. We will definitely go back. The beds were super comfortable. The pull out coach was very comfortable. Plenty of clean towels.
"Nice place to wake up!"
We stayed in a balcony room with an ocean view. Our room was recently renovated and it was comfortable and clean. We spent time in the indoor pool, steam room and hot tub, these were nice, not extremely new but nice all the same. We also enjoyed the breakfast with hot pancakes. It was overall a really nice stay for a mid range property. Advice when booking would be request an ocean front balcony room, the sunrise was amazing over the water!
"A great getaway"
My husband and I recently stayed here for 2 nights. We had room in the recently renovated part of the Inn. We had a king room with our own balcony right on the harbor. It was spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. It was very quiet even though there were quite a few guests there. We didn't have the continental breakfast. Overall it was a great stay!!
"Enjoyable Maine Vacation"
We enjoyed our stay at the Trade Winds. It was conveniently located right by the main street through town, easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. From the outside it looked like it was going to be dated, but the rooms were actually very nice. Our room had a balcony with a nice view of the water. Everything was clean and we were satisfied with everything. The pool was small and they share it with a health spa, so it's sometimes occupied. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The halls and other parts of the hotel looked very dated, but we went during construction so it may be more updated now.
"More than adequate"
Helpful staff on check in. The room was very much like the rest of the hotel that we saw, in need if a touch of paint and bits chipped or peeling. Fairly spacious, the room was perfect for two adults. To be be fair, we needed a bed for the night and a roof over our heads. It was certainly more than adequate for that, but it seemed a little overpriced for what it was. The night we stayed there wasn't much availability in the area and even the restaurant in the hotel was closed for a private function. Good selection at breakfast, which was regularly topped up.
"Get away to Maine"
This is the second time staying at the Trade Winds, for us. The condo is clean and fresh. The balcony over looks the water, and sunrise!!! Great restaurant on site, many more within walking distance. Acadia national park within driving distance for a day trip. We will definitely be back!
"very convenient"
Room was very clean. Having an outside deck/porch was nice to have. Walking distance to many restaurants. Across the street from the Lighthouse Museum which was on our todo list. Would have liked to have a coffee maker in the room.
"Very Good, but a bit more detail would have been excellent"
Excellent location and views from rooms overlooking the bay. Clean rooms, pleasant and helpful staff. Small "gripes" The desk clerk did not know whether the lower or higher number on the room A/C meant cooler. (A tab on the A/C would be simple) I was expecting better quality paper tissues, toilet paper and towels. Small things, but I was expecting better in view of the appearance and price. The adjacent restaurant had excellent food and service.
