"Was so satisfied."
I stayed here with my mom and girlfriend for 4 nights and would definately return. The location is excellent right in the middle of it all. Very clean, great space, beautiful view! Easy and fast access to the bus, shopping and eating, the cosmopolitan hotel and casino is pretty much attached which is lovely. Fresh popcorn and coffee everyday complimentary downstairs. Free shuttle on select days to a local grocery as we had a kitchen in the room this was great.
"Jan 2017 Holiday"
My wife and I visited Jockey Club 12-26th Jan 2017 through our timeshare exchange company and were very impressed. The booking in procedure at reception was friendly and efficient and at our request (I previously sent an e mail) we were given apartment 834 which overlooked the Bellagio fountains. We had a panoramic view of many of the established hotels and casino in the centre of the strip.
The apartment itself was well furnished and easy to control a/c unit. A free safe and wifi were provided. The bed was large and comfortable with housekeeping every day. Apartment facilities for Self catering were good with TV and DVD facilities in living room and bedroom. These apartments could cater for 4 however if 4 adults were sharing they need to know each other well! Given there is only one bathroom!!
On the ground floor there is a hospitality unit that loans DVDs free of charge also free coffee and popcorn. There was a small shop in the complex that provided the absolute basics although it was more cost effective to take the free trip to the grocery store. There is also a free 'jolly' once a week in a shuttle to Fremont St, however as we have been several times before we didn't take advantage of it this time around.
There is easy transfer into the Cosmopolitan Casino via a lift and is the best located of all the timeshare complexes in Vegas we have ever stayed in.
All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful and overall we would give this place 5/5 and would be happy to return again.
"Very Nice Hotel"
The Jockey Club is a timeshare hotel so there is no casino and no restaurant. I stayed in a one bedroom which was great. The room was spacious, clean, nice looking and comfortable. It had a full kitchen and was nicely stocked w/plates, pots, pans, glasses, and utensils.
The bathroom is a little small but not horrible. There is a huge walk in closet. I had a no view room and they mean no view I faced a cement wall, which didn't bother me at all. They do offer rooms with a view so if that matters to you speak with the hotel. The elevators were great no wait time. Check in is easy. They offer a ton or DVDs or games you can sign out if you like. Since it is a time share property they may call you to speak to them when I arrived I asked the front desk to put me on a no call list and I was never bothered. The hotel is directly behind and attached to the Cosmopolitan so it is very easy to get there if you want to eat or gamble. Over all a great less expensive choice that still is steps from the strip
"Hidden affordable gem on the strip !"
I almost hate to share the secret, but this place is by far the best value on the strip. We had a two bedroom two bath condo with a fully stocked kitchen for 3 nights for @$500 with NO resort fee!. It seems this place is the only property in Vegas not charging the ridiculous resort fee these days. The location can not be beat and you can use the pool and parking the Cosmo.
The rooms are slightly dated but ours was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We had a car so we stopped at Whole Foods and bought breakfast food, snacks and liquor for the room. If you aren't mobile there is a small convenient store downstairs and there is a Walgreens or CVS on just about any corner nearby.
If you don't know where to look, it can be hard to find. Some of our Uber drivers didn't know how to get there so we found it easier just to head over to the Cosmo to catch our rides. When you come out of the lobby head left up the sidewalk (away from the strip) and you will end up right in the Cosmo's rideshare pick up spot.
We weren't lucky enough to get a view of the Bellagio fountains which meant we had a view of a concrete wall, but the room was such a great deal we didn't care :).
Will definitely be back !
"Fabulous Spot"
First time staying here and will definitely do again...Fortunate to have a view of the Bellagio and the condo itself was clean and spacious....2 bedroom, 2 bath with kitchen and living area....very quiet but steps to the Strip....so convenient. Staff were very friendly and great having a little mini mart in the lobby for food and snacks. Would recommend to anyone!
"Perfect Location"
Located between the Bellagio and the Cosmopolitan location cannot get any better. Right in the heart of the strip with easy access to top attractions, easy (free) parking. Great staff, plenty of space with full kitchen, pool, handy mini mart, free snacks & coffee.
"Loved this place. ... especially for the location and price"
4 of us .... 2 parents, 2 kids the room was huge. We had a separate bedroom, which was wonderful! Very very clean. Very friendly staff. Tucked in between The Cosmopolitan and the Bellagio. Location location location!
"We got lucky on the view room - clean and honest housekeeping!"
We were able to check in early on a Friday and got a room on the 10th floor on the Bellagio side - fantastic view. View rooms are first come first served so you just don't know how that will turn out. But the fact that you are attached to Cosmo in the heart of the action is just great for the economical rooms you get a Jockey Club.
Rooms are spacious - king bed and sofa sleeper in our unit. Linens were clean. King mattress was comfy. Small kitchen and a dining table. Feels a little dated but nothing was in poor repair. Huge walk in closet. Serviceable bathroom - not fancy at all and not big. Person sleeping on sofa had to come through our bedroom to get to bathroom. Everything was clean and the towels get switched out daily if you leave them in the laundry basket.
Cleaning crew gets a major "THANK YOU" from us - my husband accidentally left his wedding ring on the nightstand all day and it was there when we returned home after a very stressful day in meetings, not able to come back and get it. BRAVO!
We did have to walk outside and up a ramp to get to the Derby tower from the main elevators and check in desk - but it wasn't a terribly long walk - just cold at this time of year. They have valet parking for $5 a day - we just self parked on B3 at the Cosmo for free. We did not turn in our coupons to the concierge, which I think is when they hit you up for time share tours - which we were not at all interested in.
Absolutely will stay again - hate to tell people about this place actually! It's a Vegas secret spot.
"Hidden jewel on the strip"
This timeshare property is tucked in between the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan. Even the smallest accommodations provide you with the feel of a suite. The daily cleaning service is supposed to include just refreshing towels and emptying trash however these ladies do a full service cleaning. We've had a strip view on a previous visit and it was amazing. This visit we have a non-strip view and it faces a wall but everything is still amazing. This has become of first choice when visiting Vegas. Parking is located underground in the Cosmopolitan parking (level B3). Make sure you tell the concierge to put you the no call list. It is after all a time share and if you don't make this request they'll be calling you to pitch going to their info/sales pitch. Aside from that it's like staying at a nice hotel on the strip.
"Excellent accommodation, facilities and location."
Stayed in room 530. View overlooking Bellagio and the strip. So delighted to wake up to such magnificent views and the lights on all the attractions at night were fab.
Room was a 1 bedroom studio with walk in wardrobe, safe, iron, ironing board. Bathroom with bath and shower above, hairdryer and toiletries. Bedroom was large with table and 2 lounge chairs at the large windows where you could sit and enjoy a morning coffee watching the strip. Plasma TV, radio alarm clock. Double doors led into a sitting room/kitchen. Corner couch with comfortable pull out bed. Kitchen had everything from washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, dish cloth, drying cloth, coffee maker with papers and fresh grounds each day. Fridge/freezer with ice cube trays, microwave, kettle and every utensil, cutlery, crockery, pans etc. We didn't cook but made use of the fridge and coffee machine.
The suite was spotless and maid service was every day. Air conditioned, secure and central to the strip. We used the convenience store for fresh milk, water, juice etc. Had small selection of most things. Walgreen's is right across the road where you can purchase everything imaginable.
The lobby also has fresh doughnuts and coffee each day and popcorn freshly made. We used the cosmopolitan bamboo pool which was excellent.
We purchased deuce tickets at the end of the drive and travelled to all attractions throughout our stay.
There is construction work ongoing outside the front of the hotel but it didn't affect our stay. I couldn't rate it high enough and would return. Small boutique accommodation in the center of the strip.
We packed in loads in 4 days; Elton John, Penn & Teller, party bus from 24/7 up the strip and las Vegas sign, Freemount experience, all the hotels, pool, gambling and are well and truly wrecked but delighted with a trip of a lifetime.
"Central location with room to relax"
We stayed for 5 days including New Year's Eve. Rooms are clean and spacious- including living room, dining table and a kitchen. King size bed and large walk in closet. It's a time share- so towels and garbage are refreshed daily- they don't make the bed. They have a gym, pool , hot tub, BBQ area and sauna- buildings are older and views are very limited unless you are on a high floor facing the Bellagio. The location is the Best item! You are right in middle of strip and can access Cosmopolitan amenites and casino via Jockey Club elevator. It's easiest to catch taxi at Cosmo and have taci's drop you off there- we would definitely go back. We had 3 units, some had more updated decor/furniture, so they may be working on that.
"Back Home"
I have been going to the Jockey Club for 30+ plus years and am always happy to go back. On this trip I was on a mission to help my sister clean and refresh her home . I stayed for a week and went to house nearly every day . My sister and niece stayed with me for the 1st couple of nights and we had a good time getting to know each other better in our later years. I also had my son staying in a different room with his sweetie and they loved their stay . The home base is always a great place to be. We have a full kitchen and a fridge big enough beer and food,(depending on your preference) The casinos are right here , all around you and no prob to get to..
Now for the staff. What a great group from check in to check out the crew is great. The crew in hospitality suite are nice a nd helpful and make great FREE popcorn. Stop by and get popcorn a free movie ,free coffee, or shoot the breeze . A really nice crew. Print your boarding pass here too. Once again kudos to Steve from Long Island and the rest of the bellmen. And I do not want to forget the Valet crew, Thank you for your help and friendly attitudes...always. So folks if you read this why stay anywhere else.. Thanks Again Jockey Club !!!
"Fantastic."
We visited a few places on our visit and this was our last location. We were here from 22nd to 28th December.
We cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic location and views over the fountain. Great hospitality suite where we rented a few dvds and games for free! Plus great coffee for free too.
It was brilliantly decorated for Christmas and had a brilliant vibe to it.
Best location as was literally across the road from the miracle Mile and some of the shows, shops and casinos. Bus stop right outside. Free parking and central on the strip.
Out of all the places we stayed on this holiday this was the best and to top it all off, it was really cheap compared to many large hotels.
Highly recommend this place.
"Exceeded my Expectations"
I stayed here while I was attending a conference close by. I reserved a room because I got a good price online and it was close to where the conference was. After staying here, I was pleasantly surprised in a number of ways. I had a large bedroom with a large screen television, a living room with a large sofa, a dining room table, and another large screen television, plus a full kitchen with pots and pans, plates, utensils and full sized appliances. At about 10pm, I went down to front desk because I thought the refrigerator was not working. I told the front desk about this, thinking that would no one would be available at that time of night. Someone came up with 10 minutes and made sure it was working, In short, I thought the room was extremely nice, clean, and comfortable. Additionally, there was also very good customer service.
"Great Location for a Comfortable Stay"
We were here for a week on a timeshare exchange. Our 1 bedroom unit was located in the Derby Tower and we got a view of the Bellagio garage and Strip.
The location is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I are walkers and this hotel is located mid-strip so we were able to go in either direction and visit the other hotels on the strip.
The apartment furniture is dated but the housekeeping is excellent. Every day the towels were changed, the bed was made and the supplies such as coffee and shampoo were replaced. Laundry facilities were available on the floor.
The hotel offered a free shuttle to the supermarket which we did use. We did not need a car all week. I would stay here again.
"Clean, Cozy, and Convenient"
My number one priority when staying in a resort or hotel is that the place be really clean. From the doormat outside the entrance to the bathroom floors in the unit, the Jockey Club is clean, clean, clean. Since this was my first experience with the Jockey Club, I don't know what the decorations are in other seasons. What I can say is that the decorations and displays at Christmas time are lovely and and made the resort feel like home. And all of the staff from the front desk to the valet, hospitality suite staff, housekeeping supervisor and staff, and the resort manager were very friendly, helpful, and thorough. Bravo to the management for hiring these people and maintaining high standards.
My sister and I stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds and 1 1/2 baths. With a galley kitchen, a large sectional sofa, a dining table with 6 chairs, and large flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom, a large walk-in closet and a coat closet, we had all the space and comforts we needed for our stay.
Location, location, location! The Jockey Club is connected to the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. ( If your taxi driver doesn't know where the Jockey Club is, just tell the driver it's on the street between the Cosmopolitan and the Bellagio.) Walk up the sidewalk to Las Vegas Blvd, Aria is to the right, Bellagio to the left. Cross at the corner to go to the Paris on the left or Planet Hollywood on the right. (Try the restaurant Planet Dailies for breakfast. Scrumptious. ) You could not ask for a more convenient location on the Strip.
"Hidden gem on the Strip"
So this weekend we stayed at the jockey club Friday to Sunday. I'd never stayed before and didn't quite know what to expect other than what I'd read on here and a friend of mine who told me that the location really was perfect.
So yes, the location is perfect. You are about 100 yards from standing in the middle of the strip, next to bellagio and really really next to cosmo. Intersection right out front has a crosswalk to planet Hollywood and Paris. Truly just perfect location and you'd probably never notice it if you weren't looking for it.
The service was great. We didn't have a ton of run in with staff because we weren't on the property a ton, but check in was seamless, and when I went back to front desk to ask do an extra blanket for the couch they got me it immediately. They also stored our bags for the day on our final day after check out as our flight home wasn't until late. Great all around.
The room we had was perfect. Spacious 1 bedroom king room with queen pull out. Tons of room for 4 people as long as 2 are OK on a pullout. The room was spotless and had all the things you could want in the kitchen and 2 tvs in the room. WiFi worked great in there as well for anyone who cares. We did have one of the views of the cosmo wall, but I don't go to Vegas to stare out my window so frankly I didn't care.
There was some construction going on as you may have read in a couple other posts on here. Anyone who says that interfered with their stay I must question. It's just kind of there and doesn't change your stay at all.
Overall as close to perfect as it could get I say. Well be booking again here for our next trip back and I'd tell anyone I know to do the same.
"Anniversary Stay at the Jockey."
Great location and stay at the Jockey Club. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows. We were in a studio unit w/King bed that had door that could be closed off from the living space. Nice, clean, but small bathroom. Two flat screen TV's. Nice amenities of furnishings. Small kitchen fully furnished! Has several shuttles offered to grocery, shopping, Freemont Street experience. Lovely hotel.
"Good value and great location"
Positives are definitely the location and value. We only had 1 night in LV so hard to get a read on everything but this is right next to the Bellagio and within 100 metres of other popular places.
Value is hard to beat if you are after a strip location (as we were), but you do get what you pay for so if you want to spend more and get more, this may not be for you.
Our family suite had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with separate lounge. TV in all rooms. The room was dated and tired, but for a family of 5 on a budget it was paradise compared to some other places we stayed.
Finally a bit shout out to the staff. They went out of there way to help out and look after us and the kids.
"Perfect Location-Great Price"
Myself and 3 friends stayed at the Jockey Club for 3 nights to run the Rock n Roll Las Vegas half marathon. This condo is in the perfect location to get anywhere on the strip. It is between Bellagio and Cosmopolitan, but tucked down a side alley out of the hustle and bustle. We stayed in a 2BR 2BA condo and it was perfect for the 4 of us. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we could want. Every staff member we met was friendly, and we had no problem with being asked to go to a timeshare presentation. The mini mark near the lobby was convenient to buy a few snack items, but a little pricey. We didn't get to use it, but the pool looked nice. Housekeeping did a spectacular job cleaning daily. There is a safe in the room, which we did not expect, and was a nice amenity. Overall a great experience. If I am in Vegas again, I will definitely check into the Jockey Club again.
