Overall a very nice resort. The golf course was super. It is fun to play and very fair. We were surprised how quiet the resort was both day and night. The staff was very helpful. The pools and other attractions were very nice. The new company that owns the former Tree Top seems to be doing a great job. Lots of fun things to do in the area.

We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Great vacation!"
First off let me verify that we stayed at Fairway villas not Tree Tops. I was a little nervous on what to expect from reading all the negative review but our villa was perfect for us. Now it is not a 4 star hotel, but it was clean and fairly updated. Those who expect otherwise need to realize that you are in the mountains in a wooded resort so the decor of the villa reflects that. The flooring had been updated in our living room dining room and kitchen. The kitchen. Had also been recently redone within the past couple of years. I cannot say how extremely nice the staff was here. Everyone was more than friendly. Andy and Bill from maintenance are the best and were quick to respond to our minor issues. One was when our son locked us out of the villa and then other was a minor issue with the bathroom door. The convenience of the property is also a plus. We have older kids so the fact that they offer a shuttle to transport you around the property was a huge win for us. This allowed our kids to be able to have a little more freedom without having us around all the time. We are only half way through our vacation but I felt the need to write this review due to the negative reviews that do it unfair justice. Now I am only speaking on my experience at Fairway. We met another family who stayed at Treetop and did not have the same type of villa we had. They are remodeling from the looks of things so hopefully as time goes by this will become a great vacation for all. I'm just glad it was great for us!!

Definitely an amazing choice for stay. I came up with my family for 4th of July and everybody was so courteous. Definitely the best customer service I have seen. This is for anyone looking to have fun.
"Best Stay Ever"
I had my best holiday stay at this wonderful resort. It is just great and i will definitely come back. I loved the food at the restaurant, the wonderful pools, the zip line and the wonderful landscape. Rooms are well stocked and very clean and modern.
"Amazing"
Wow. If I had depended on the many negative comments I would have made one of the biggest mistakes in my life. I had my vacation in block 0251 and had a two-bedroom villa. It was just exquisite and the kitchen had more utensils and equipment I needed. 3 TV sets, 3 vacuum cleaners and enough beds to host 8 guests. And there was a jacuzzi too. The property is so large so they have a free shuttle you can just take to any corner of the over 100 acre property. Living in Fernwood was more than living at home and I thank everyone in Fernwood for their hospitality and hard work. The only drawback is that you need to get closer to the welcome center to have free internet, but that was not a problem for me. Fernwood is an excellent place to be.
