Nos quedamos aquí y optamos por la opción de todo incluido. Todavía recibíamos desayuno gratis, lo que nos convenía antes de seguir con nuestras aventuras. El desayuno no fue nada especial, pero hizo el trabajo y fue satisfactorio. Nuestra habitación era preciosa con una gran vista. Tenía dos baños, lo que fue increíble. La cama era genial. La habitación también tenía una nevera de tamaño completo, estufa, microondas y la mayoría de los utensilios y platos que necesitaría. Esto fue excelente para hacer el almuerzo y guardar los bocadillos durante nuestra estancia. Este resort fue una caminata rápida a la marina y el viaje en taxi a la mayoría de los lugares fue de menos de 12 dólares. Incluso se puede caminar desde el hotel hasta la playa en el Océano Pacífico. El océano era hermoso. Nos encantó nuestra estancia.

Me quedé durante el Día de Acción de Gracias en una habitación con una vista increíble de la playa que era tranquila, espaciosa y limpia. La piscina de natación y el bar fue genial y el servicio nunca fue lento. Hay una gran playa semi-privada justo detrás de la propiedad también. El personal siempre nos ayudó y nunca nos presionaron en ninguna de las presentaciones de tiempo compartido. Definitivamente volveré.

Teníamos una habitación con vista al mar hacia el atardecer. A pesar de la puesta de sol detrás del embarcadero de roca, era hermoso ver cada noche como el cielo se iluminaba con hermosos colores de naranja, rosa y rojo. Aunque el resort es antiguo, han hecho un buen trabajo con las renovaciones. Teníamos un amplio dormitorio con dos baños completos. Este resort fue el primero que visité en México donde los representantes de tiempo compartido no fueron agresivos. Aceptaron que rechazáramos la invitación para una presentación y eso fue el final de la misma. Muchos resorts no se detienen hasta que aceptas o hasta que llegas el día antes de salir. Volveré a este centro turístico en el futuro debido a esto y a la buena disposición de las habitaciones y el centro turístico.

Este viaje fue una visita previa a la boda para finalizar todos nuestros detalles para la boda el próximo enero. La boda será en Flora Farms en San José, pero nos encanta Solmar tanto que todos nuestros invitados se quedarán aquí durante los 4 días de actividades de la boda. Ha sido un placer trabajar con Erika la coordinadora del grupo y no podemos esperar a que nuestros huéspedes disfruten de Solmar tanto como nosotros. Ahora que llegamos aquí tuvimos un cambio interesante de vuelos ese día y se suponía que llegaríamos a Cabo a la 1:00 p.m. pero terminamos llegando casi a la medianoche al resort. Pero el maravilloso hombre de la recepción nos registró y le dijo a mi hija que había servicio a la habitación las 24 horas, lo que le alegro la noche ya que estábamos hambrientos. El botones llevó nuestras maletas a la habitación y procedimos a pedir servicio de habitaciones. Antes de que nos diéramos cuenta la comida llegó y fuimos felices acampando en nuestros pijamas comiendo nachos. Hicimos el "todo incluido" esta vez sólo para hacer las cosas más fáciles y el precio del viaje fue inmejorable. A la mañana siguiente siempre nos encantaba desayunar junto a la piscina mirando al mar disfrutando de un café y una mimosa. El desayuno estuvo siempre delicioso y el personal es fabuloso. Por favor, asegúrese de dar propina a estas personas agradables que trabajan muy duro y realmente tratan de hacer que su estancia sea agradable. Todos los días teníamos múltiples citas para reunirnos con los vendedores para la boda y el caballero que maneja el valet y que le consigue un taxi es muy eficiente y sabía por qué estábamos allí y se aseguró de que llegáramos al lugar correcto. Intentamos disfrutar un poco del tiempo en la piscina porque nos encanta la piscina tranquila, el gran sushi y por supuesto Nefi el camarero que siempre corre y sonríe. El resort es un lugar perfecto para alojarse si te gusta estar cerca de la Marina y el centro de la ciudad y mi hija y yo íbamos en taxi a cenar todas las noches y caminábamos de regreso al resort más tarde en la noche, siempre sintiéndonos seguros. Debo decir que siempre nos sentimos bienvenidos y bien atendidos cuando nos quedamos en Solmar. No podemos esperar a estar de vuelta con nuestros invitados en enero. Casi olvido que las habitaciones tienen un aire fresco y moderno, las camas son súper cómodas y las damas que hacen el servicio de mucama las mantienen impecables.

Hermosa suite con balcón envolvente. Decoración contemporánea. Desperte con una vista impresionante del océano. Barcos de pesca que salen a pescar durante el día....impresionantes puestas de sol. Todo el personal es servicial y profesional. Teníamos batidos infinitos en la piscina todas las mañanas servidos por Freddie y Carmen. Incluso recordaron nuestro nombre después del primer día. La ubicación estaba lo suficientemente cerca como para caminar hasta la marina, la cena, los bares. Ya volveremos. ¡He sido restaurado!

The room service was as good as most Marriott's! Also, Dony did an awesome job with water aerobics every day, which helped us not gain weight. The food was really good! Loved the quiet surroundings with very few children.

Always have a great time here, they upgraded our room again which was nice. The food and service is always good they want to make sure your having a good time. This was our fourth trip here. Nefi who brings you food and drinks by the pool is the greatest. The construction is all finished and that made everything better. Look forward to coming back again.

We had a wonderful time, the staff at Solmar were very kind and,helpful. We have had a 20 year time share,many new buildings such as the Grand Solmar, we love the original. Perfect weather helped make it paradise every day.

fabulous location and well groomed grounds!! our room was wonderful and overlooked the ocean on one side and the pool areas on the other and has 3 separate terraces to relax on from the room. we bought our own food and drinks for the stay and did not do all inclusive and were happy we did. the one night we ate food from the restaurant it was average at best. the breakfast every morning (included in our package) was outstanding...eggs and meat and potatoes and beans and tortilla or toast and a fruit plate with freshly squeezed OJ everyday

The Solmar in Cabo San Lucas has it all. Best of fun, relaxation and an endless party. The Solmar Resort was a beautiful destination resort keeping with that traditional Mexico charm. The food was excellent and the swim up bar in the pool could not have been any more fun. The room was spacious with a living room kitchen and 3 balcony's with views to die for.

The staff are kind and EXCELLENT. The pools are real nice. The rooms are very spacious and nice. I would definitely go back and stay here. The marina is walking distance from the hotel. Grand Solmar is for couples in my opinion. Its a pretty quiet retreat but over all I would give it a A+.

This was our second time coming home to Solmar. My husband and I liked it so much the first time, that we had to come back. Some times, a second visit is not as good as the first. This was even better. It exceeded the first time and the first time was great. Specifically, it is a good resort for all ages, all nationalities and all types. We did the all-inclusive as we did the year before. Three fiestas were presented during the week we were there. Very enjoyable! There are two pools and the upper pool is more quiet for some visitors. The food, service and staff are the best. Visitors can walk to town, but it is a taxi ride away from town, but we have seen enough in our many years of coming to Cabo. We stayed at the resort the entire time. It is an encouraging environment and the staff are knowledgeable about all phases of help. I cannot say enough about the kind and caring atmosphere that I experienced here. Try it! You will like it.

I just returned from a girlfriend's getaway. The Solmar Resort made it a perfect getaway with their wonderful staff, beautiful and large rooms, happy hour by the pool, and overall ambiance!! The resort is within easy walking distance to the old town and marina, which made it really handy since we didn't do the all inclusive and we walked to town to try various restaurants. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and helpful, we felt like part of the family.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was friendly and willing to accommodate all the time. The pools were relaxing and the swim up bar was so much fun. They have a 2-1 happy hour with great drinks. I indulged with a massage from Blanca which was one of the best massages I've ever had. The prices of this hotel, food, and drinks are on par with most of Cabo. I highly recommend this property.

Great staff very friendly. Did a great job. Had many different services to offer. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. Rates were good. The view of the ocean right there in front of you was outstanding and the sound of the ocean very relaxing.

We booked five days at the Solmar as part of a Hotwire offer......we stayed at another resort the first week, and came into Solmar from a Saturday to Thursday package....the Hotwire offer included the American breakfast each morning and was very well presented with table delivered fresh fruit assortment, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, eggs of choice, hash browns, and toas...very tasty, seasoned very nice, and more than enough to get us going for the day. We enjoyed the lower ocean front pool with pool bar, as well as the upper pool with nice size casual restaurant to enjoy as well and service from the bar for food and drinks.... Grand Solmar has completed their construction, thus opening up the Solmar reception area with three conseige service desk to assist in any plans for booking outside the resort...everyone wa friendly, kind, courteous, and helpful in marking our stay so pleasant. The rooms are very clean, and serviced everyday...couldn't ask for any better service from the smaller original resort...bathrooms are a little dated, but "classic" to the era of construction...towels changed daily as well, with all floors moped daily as well... closet were about six foot with pull out cabinetry on one side for storage. More than ample space. Nice size patio and wonderful view of the ocean. Grounds are meticulous and again maintained on a daily basis.. their staff works so hard each day and take such pride in the Solmar Resort.. We took advantage as well of the sister resorts for dining at the Grand Solmar and also the Mexican Fiesta at Playa Grande... between the three resorts, it was a wonderful and fun filled five days there. Thank you to a combination of incredible resorts and excellent staff... we're heading back in May to the Grand Solmar and bring family with us. Thank you again Solmar for a wonderful stay! See you next year!

We had a very nice two weeks at this resort. All the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and have a nice vacation. The grounds are well maintained and very pretty. We enjoyed the food at the pool and Sports Bar. The breakfast is very good in the LaRocca restaurant.

Very friendly staff Great improvements have been made Room renovations are in progress food is exceptional Juan Carlos Salgado as manager has been the leader in some quality improvements. Well worth the $$ as an all- inclusive Great location

Words can't even describe the awesome time we had there!!! The Hotel & All the wait staff etc were awesome!!! They couldn't do enough for us...SPOILED US ROTTEN!! LaRoca Restaurant on the grounds was fabulous. The head waiter Igneous (not spelled right) was very help & friendly. You won't be disappointed with this Hotel...More like a Palace!! Would defiantly recommend and plan on returning :)
