    "feels like home"
    I have been to Williamsburg several times and every visit gets better. From the room size to the large tv it feels better than home. They are so gracious and friendly. I was the only one to take in a movie and they still ran the movie. A beautiful room and I loved the Christmas decorations.
    "A place to stay while enjoying history."
    We have stayed at several Westgate properties because I have a timeshare with them. Our stay in Williamsburg was pleasant and the hotel and rooms are nice and we'll kept. All our questions were answered quickly and correctly. It is centrally located and all the places we wanted to see were within about 10 miles of the hotel. The staff makes a point to have activities available for the folks staying there. They had a treasure hunt, the new Terminator movie, a historical show, a ice cream social and various crafts. They even had childcare so parents could have a night out alone. We will definitely go back there to stay when going to Williamsburg.
    "Westgate Historic Williamsburg"
    The staff were excellent and very professional. Our accommodation was a 3 bed luxury apartment with everything, washer, dryer, full oven and microwave with fully stocked kitchen utensils. We were greeted by a lovely lady, shown to our room and provided with a welcome pack of tea coffee milk etc. In room Wi-Fi, flat screen TV - really great facilities. Room was decked out in colonial style - very tasteful and spotless. The pool area was small but great and open until 23.00hrs. There was a games room and small lobby in main reception area. We noticed plans were up to extend the property at the back to include more condos etc. so I'm guessing construction will be underway shortly. The other disadvantage was there was no BAR, all alcohol had to be purchased at the local supermarkets. Located on the Richmond Road bordering Colonial Williamsburg - perfect location for touring the area, including Yorktown, Busch Gardens and Water Country etc.
    "Quick weekend trip"
    Stayed over the weekend for a quick Busch gardens trip. Beautiful facilities, good parking and safe area. Food and things to do easily accessible. Major complaint is the $50 deposit for wifi which is absolute highway robbery in 2015. Gym, pool, hot tub, vball, and putting green very nice for stay!
    "Friendly, clean and close to historic Williamburg"
    We spent a week at Westgate and enjoyed the facility and the very friendly staff. Our room (studio) was clean and nicely decorated in keeping with colonial Williamsburg traditions. The kitchenette was well appointed for a studio -- microwave, adequate refrigerator, coffee maker and plenty of dishes and glassware for a comfortable stay. For what it is, this is a nice, friendly place to stay while in Williamsburg.
    "Nice Room-- good staff"
    This is the best Westgate we have stayed at--much nicer than Orlando. Branson was good, too. Close to all attractions and actually is very walking friendly. Easy to walk to a lot of great restaurants and the pool area very clean and nice. This is a good one
    "Speedy service and great attitudes"
    We rented a studio (sleeps 4). It is really small, but we basically just stayed in the room to sleep and that's it. For that, it is great....for more than 2 people though, I would definitely get a bigger room. The pool was great (towels stocked, etc.) and the staff was prompt when we needed extras in the room. As for the location, it is pretty much perfect--it's a great starting point for wherever you were headed that day & there's a Walgreen's right across the street for any necessities.

    The place is so cool I had so much fun and they were so nice they have cool pictures hanging on the walls the owner has met lots of people like Julius Erving and the rock and bill Clinton I also went to watercountry that's was great and close to the H
    "Historic Williamsburg and Washington DC"
    Excellent accommodation, well situated for scenic exploration, Washington, Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and day trip to Virginia Beach Accommodations were clean and well stocked. Layout was good for 4 travelling adults. Pool area was not crowded and was a welcome relief after long day of touring.
    "Lovely stay!"
    My husband I just spent 2 nights at the Westgate and had a wonderful experience. We were in a one bedroom villa which was clean and very spacious for 2 people. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great! It's only 5 minutes from the Colonial Williamsburg and is near plenty of restaurants.
    "Williamsburg - great find"
    This was a surprising find of a hotel. On a last minute addition to our vacation we lucked out in finding this hotel. The room/villa was lovely- giving separation between the adults and the kids. The full kitchen and laundry in the room was an added bonus, especially since this was an extension of our vacation. The hotel is located close to restaurants, shopping, and the area attractions. This place is definitely on our list of choice hotels.
    "Well worth the extra cost over a regular hotel!"
    Booked a 1 bedroom suite. The room was very large, had a living room, an eat-in kitchen with full size appliances, a dish washer, clothes washer and dryer. The bedroom was large with a king bed. A large double vanity, shower and 2 person jacuzzi tub The hotel was very clean. Had a large pool. Would stay their again.

    We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is nice. We used the pool and my daughter enjoyed it. The room was nice! Big bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Only complaint was the noise late at night from other guests. We stayed two nights.
    "Clean and Comfortable"
    In June of 2015, my family and I traveled to Colonial Williamsburg. After looking for several hotels via travel websites, I chose the Westgate Historic Williamsburg. Uncertain what to expect, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The office staff was very friendly, accommodating and informative. Our room was a one-bedroom with suite which contained a whirlpool tub and adjacent bathroom. The sofa couch in the living room was perfect for the two tall teenage daughters. The kitchen was well stocked and the suite was very clean. Our room faced the pool which gave me a sightline of the girls when swimming. The hotel is located on a slightly busy road but the foliage around the hotel gave you a secluded feel.
    "Excellent GM"
    we had issues with the corporate office of Westgate resorts and the GM of the Williamsburg property went completely out of his way to help us. He was an excellent example of what putting the customer first means. Kudos to him We need more GM's like him!
